First Visit
Prior to you your first visit, we would like to invite you to read about how your oral health affects your overall body health. Your first visit will include a very comprehensive dental examination. This allows Dr. Hinkle to identify your unique needs, discover your wants and allow you time to discuss them with him. You will be screened for signs of oral cancer, jaw dysfunction, and other dental conditions such as decay, fractures, defective fillings, missing teeth and excessive wear. In addition, a periodontal evaluation will be done to determine the health of your gums and to check for possible gum disease. In order to effectively diagnose all oral conditions, a full series of x-rays will be taken.
